Volume, definition and structure

Non-surgical treatments for facial volume enhancement provide a way to define and contour areas such as the lips, jawline, chin, and mid-face.

How it works

4.18@x2.png

As we age, our faces naturally lose volume, collagen production declines, and skin elasticity diminishes. Non-surgical treatments offer an effective solution to address these changes and restore facial volume.

Cosmetic aesthetic treatments can also target wrinkles and fine lines, revitalizing your skin for a refreshed, youthful appearance.

Our team of fully qualified Cosmetic Registered Nurses provide thorough consultations to determine the best approach for your facial volume needs. During your consultation, our Laser Clinics Cosmetic Registered Nurse will discuss personalised treatment options tailored to your unique goals.

This Cosmetic Aesthetic treatment boosts your skin, revitalises overall appearance, and adds facial volume to numerous facial areas from the time of treatment and over the coming weeks. This diminishes the appearance of lines and wrinkles and gives a natural softer look.

Individual results may vary. A consultation before the first treatment is required, so please notify us of any health conditions or medical history during this appointment. This information will ensure your individual needs are assessed and that appropriate guidance is given.

  • Mild swelling around the injection site
  • Tenderness or bruising at the treatment areas
  • Tiny red dots at the treatment sites
  • A mild headache, depending on the treatment area

Cheeks

Over time the cheek fat pad or ‘malar fat pad’ starts to drop as a result of volume loss. This can have a considerable effect on other areas of your face. Cosmetic Aesthetics can help to define your cheekbone and fill in areas as volume diminishes.

Chin

The chin can appear too small or hidden in the lower region of the face. Cosmetic Aesthetic treatments to the chin can elongate the face and in some cases, provide the look of a more defined profile.

Jaw Re-Shaping

Cosmetic Aesthetics can be used around the jaw to enhance the shape of the jawline.

Jowls

Jowls, or sagging of the lower face are caused by a loss of collagen and elastin creating an ageing effect. Cosmetic Aesthetics in this area help to re-create a jawline and restore facial harmony.

Lip Borders + Volume

Many attributes make lips appealing including the border, volume, balance, and symmetry. Cosmetic Aesthetics can both enhance a younger lip and volumise the ageing lip.

Lip Lines

Vertical lip lines appear on the top and bottom lip. The appearance of these lines can be vastly improved with Cosmetic Aesthetics.

Corner of the Mouth

This area can become more apparent and begin to turn down as a result of pressure from the mid face and the constant pull of a muscle known as the Depressor Anguli Oris. This can make the face look sad and aged.

Nasolabial Folds

These folds start at the sides of the nose and run down to the corners of the mouth. As your cheek descends, it can exaggerate these lines creating deeper folds. Cosmetic Aesthetics support this area and re-harmonise the mid face.

Tear Troughs

Tear troughs, or dark circles under the eyes, can be due to volume loss in that region, making you look older and tired. Cosmetic Aesthetics in this area helps recreate the free-flowing transition from the eyes to the cheek.

Temple

The temple area loses volume as we age and can create the appearance of hollowing in the upper face. Cosmetic Aesthetics can be used to re-volumise this region.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question not listed below? Visit our FAQ page to find more answers and info about our complete range of laser, skin, body, and cosmetic procedures.

  • Why am I required to complete a Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) screening?

We want to ensure you feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. That's why we adhere to the latest guidelines set by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) screening, developed by the Medical Board of Australia. This ensures that we maintain the highest standards of care and address any underlying mental health concerns.

  • What happens in a Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) screening?

Our healthcare professionals will ask general questions about BDD in your medical history form upon arrival at your appointment, followed by formal screening if deemed necessary. This helps us tailor treatment plans and make informed decisions to ensure your well-being.

Your privacy and confidentiality are of utmost importance to us throughout the entire screening process.

  • How should I prepare for a Cosmetic Aesthetic treatment?

Avoid vigorous physical activity or any large intakes of alcohol for 24 hours as this increases the risk of bruising. Aspirin and Vitamin E should not be taken one week before the treatment.

  • Can I fly after my Cosmetic Aesthetic treatment?

Avoid international travel for 2 weeks post-treatment. The prolonged cabin air pressure can cause unpredictable swelling and bruising.

  • Can I have my Cosmetic Aesthetics dissolved at the clinic?

We do not offer to dissolve Cosmetic Aesthetic products if you were treated outside of our network of clinics.

If you wish to dissolve the Cosmetic Aesthetic products you received at Laser Clinics, you must book a consult with your Cosmetic Injector.

  • Can I get Cosmetic Aesthetic treatments while pregnant?

No. Your safety is our main concern and for this reason, we do not treat clients who are pregnant. We advise against all Cosmetic Aesthetic treatments while pregnant simply out of precaution and due to the lack of information available on Cosmetic Aesthetic treatment effects on the fetus.
